Dr Richard Bezanson
Orthodontist
Dr. Richard Bezanson believes in the power of communicating honestly and openly with every patient. He is known for his experience and the superior results of his orthodontic treatment. To stay up-to-date on the newest orthodontic advances, Dr. Bezanson belongs to various study clubs and continually attends continuing education courses.
Dr. Bezanson obtained his B.Sc., in biology from Dalhousie University, Halifax in 1976. Following this, Dr. Bezanson studied dentistry at Dalhousie University graduating in 1980. On completion of his dental studies, he practiced general dentistry from 1980 to 1984 in Moncton, NB. In 1984, Dr. Bezanson entered Tufts University in Boston, obtaining his diploma in Orthodontics in 1986. Dr. Bezanson’s interest in graduate school focused on early/interceptive orthodontic treatment. From 1986, he worked in private practice, limited to Orthodontics, in Moncton. In February 2009 he opened his practice under the name of Bezanson Orthodontics in Fall River, N.S.
Dr. Bezanson taught the orthodontic module at the Oulton’s Dental Hygiene program in Moncton, and lectured in Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick on numerous orthodontic subjects. He has completed several levels at the Pankey Institute in Miami and advanced training at the Las Vegas Institute, Las Vegas.
